Matrix Reporting to the CDPHE will change to IMAGETREND March 31st

posted Jan 24, 2012 1:16 PM by Clay Young

IMAGETREND TRAINING !!!

PLEASE NOTE:  IF YOU HAVE ALREADY ATTENDED WEBINAR TRAINING, PLEASE DISREGARD THIS MESSAGE !!!!

As you may know, the EMS and Trauma Section at CDPHE has contracted with ImageTrend to provide software for EMS agencies to create patient care reports and to submit data to the state database. The Image Trend software will replace the current MATRIX system for EMS data collection.

Time is running out—the MATRIX will be shut down approximately March 31st 2012.  Please take this opportunity to learn about ImageTrend.

We have set up a series of webinar trainings on how to use the ImageTrend software. If you plan to use the ImageTrend software these courses would be of great benefit.

 Course Descriptions:

State Bridge Administration:

Intended for service administrators, this course explains how to set up the ImageTrend programs for your agency. Topics include service setup, adding crew member accounts, vehicles, destinations and other administrative tasks.

Field Bridge Operation:

Intended for both service administrators and EMS providers, this course describes how to use the Field Bridge program to enter patient care reports and upload them into the State Bridge repository.

To fully understand the ImageTrend software, we encourage you to take both courses in the order listed (State Bridge Administration first, then Field Bridge Operation second).

You can sign up for the day/time that works best for you – you do not have to complete both trainings on the same day or even in the same week.

Dates/times for the webinars are listed below.  Each webinar can accommodate up to 10 agencies per session. Please register no more than two people per agency per session.

If more than one person at your agency wants to attend, you may need to share a PC as the number of call-in lines is limited.

Please Note:  Shortly after you have registered,  you will receive information regarding the licensing and download instructions for the Field Bridge software.

Please register at  https://www.hfemsd2.dphe.state.co.us/OnlineTraining_EMSData

 1.       Wednesday, February 1st             – State Bridge Webinar; 9-11am MTN

 2.      Wednesday, February 1st             – Field Bridge Webinar; 1-3pm MTN

 3.       Friday, February 3rd                       – State Bridge Webinar; 9-11am MTN

 4.       Friday, February 3rd                        – Field Bridge Webinar; 1-3pm MTN

Please note:

If you’re currently using another 3rd party vendor software other than ImageTrend and uploading to MATRIX

– you’ll continue uploading to the MATRIX until  you hear something different from us.

At that point, you’ll be assigned an ImageTrend username/password where you will upload your data file to

ImageTrend in place of the MATRIX –

It’s not necessary for you to attend training if you are planning to continue to use a 3rd party software.

If you have any questions, please contact Steve Boylls at (303) 692-2994 or E-mail steve.boylls@state.co.us

Thank you and we look forward to hearing from you.

To access Module 1 slides for the Airway Mastery/King Tube training, you can go to either link.

Internet:  http://www.poudre-fire.org/document-library/ems/Airway_Mastery_Review_Module_I-King_Tube_Training.ppt

In order to utilize this module effectively, you will need to have working audio on your computer.  There are many hyperlinks to other sites on the intranet, so if you are having problems with speed, it may help to download the ppt to your hard drive before opening it up and playing it.  This module should take 45-60 minutes if you go through all of the links.

There will be two more modules for you to complete before October and then there will be a competency written exam as well as the practical stations during your rotations through the stations.

If you have any further questions, don’t hesitate to contact me.
